When our health is compromised, and we’re at our most vulnerable, the compassion and care of a skilled doctor or nurse, a kind word from a volunteer, or a smile from a technician has the power to transform our healthcare experience and turn caregivers into heroes.

If you are exceptionally grateful for the care you’ve received from a doctor, nurse, technician, therapist, hospital unit, or friendly volunteer and would like to show your gratitude, the My Care Hero program can help you say “thanks.”

When you make a donation or share your story in honour of your caregiver, you will help ensure that the same exceptional care you received is paid forward to RVH patients across Simcoe Muskoka.

Your tribute will also be shared with your caregiver in the form of a personalized thank you card. If you’ve chosen to honour your caregiver with a monetary donation, they will also receive a My Care Hero badge holder to wear proudly around the health centre (your donation amount will not be shared).

Your My Care Hero tribute lifts the spirits of all our caregivers by giving them the most incredible gift—your gratitude.
